All of these projects are being developed by Canadian and Australian companies. 47% of all public mining companies globally are listed on the TSX/V in Canada. The other major hub for public money is the ASX in Australia. The Unites States has identified 35 critical minerals that need to be produced in the USA in order to make the USA more competitive globally. Few American companies have responded to this need, with even fewer financial companies dedicating resources. This is one area where conservatives and liberals can come together. Conservatives largely control the resource extraction sectors in the United States. Liberals will support the development of critical mineral resources in the United States because they are required for new green technologies. Conservative politicians are grasping the opportunity and supporting legislation that aids the development of critical minerals in the USA.
